A little bit about me!

​

I was born and raised in California, which is where I met my wife, Leah. This is where I began my teaching career! ​We moved to Illinois for her to complete medical school, which is where I taught for five years. Then, we moved to Utah last summer for her to complete her surgical residency program.

We have a dog named Nala who goes everywhere with us, on hikes and car rides, but her favorite is the beach! She will join our LiveLessons often!

 

Earlier this year, my wife gave birth to our first child, a boy named Madden!

My hobbies are working out, playing video games, cooking/BBQing, hiking, and hanging with my family, ideally at the beach! My favorite kind of music is heavy metal, as I grew up listening to Pantera and Metallica! Most music is ok, except country, no thank you! I LOVE the 49ers, and am a big football fan in general. I am a big sports fanatic in general, as I played football, wrestling and soccer years ago, and I coached each of those sports as a teacher later in life.

I am a curious person and have a variety of interests, but that is why I love teaching! I get to show people new things they didn't know before and to be a better version of themselves each and every day!
